Speaker System

As the flagship model of the Concert Artist series, the CA901 features a powerful hybrid speaker setup that
combines premium speaker units with Kawai’s renowned soundboard transducer technology, delivering crisp high
frequencies and warm, resonant lows.

Premium Speaker Drivers

In addition to high-quality audio amplification and processing hardware, the CA901 also features a high-spec
speaker system developed by audio specialists. Premium speaker drivers were selected for their flat frequency

Shigeru Kawai SK-EX grand piano, while diffuser panels help evenly disperse sound.

Wooden Soundboard

The Kawai CA-901 incorporates a wooden soundboard, just like a traditional acoustic piano. This combination of

energy, resulting in a more natural and organic tone. Securely attached long wooden ribs to the soundboard further

Touchscreen Interface

All CA-901 functions, including the Virtual Technician, can be accessed via the CA901’s 5-inch anti-glare
touchscreen display, allowing for sound and setting selection through an attractive user interface by simply
tapping or swiping on the screen.

The screen can also be set to automatically turn off while playing, preserving the appearance of acoustic pianos
and minimizing any visual distractions for the performer.

Contemporary Design

The latest Concert Artist instruments are housed in premium wood cabinets with tapered legs and rounded edge
